Responsible for balance sheet consolidation. Group reporting closing and consolidation. Solid understand and experience on IFRS. Accountant registration. Solid experience on tax management and tax planing on industry. Responsibility for all tax reportings and fulfilling local tax requirements

What we offer

  • Ensure timely and consistent preparation and delivery of tax declarations according to local tax regulation
  • Ensure consistent balance sheets delivery at group and local levels, timely and following internal guidelines, as well as local legislation
  • Follow up and be updated on the tax legislation, advising the organization timely before and implementing corresponding projects and measures to ensure tax compliant processes
  • Responsible for group tax reporting (tax workbook, tax risk report and other corporate demands)
  • Coordinate and support execution and preparation of tax reports at group level
  • Manage relationship with external service providers in the area of tax
  • Develop and implement tax optimization projects together with the Tax Planning team
  • Represent Brazil on regional and global level in tax matters
  • Manage of tax inspections
  • Manage and develop tax and accounting teams, including back up structure
  • Coordinate accounting topics with the SSC
  • Coordination of external auditors
  • Assure monthly, quarterly and annual closing of balance sheets according to global timelines ensuring proper application of guidelines
  • Guarantee implementation and execution of accounting processes
  • Steer execution of accounting controls
  • Optimize tax structure in Brazil, identifying and utilizing opportunities of local tax system
  • Advisory role towards business (evaluation of tax impacts of business decisions)
  • Financial data integrity and reliability
  • Assure resilience of critical processes
  • Identify business opportunities on the tax area
  • Timely application of new tax and accounting regulation involving corresponding local, regional and global counter partners
  • Be a trustable business partner on the tax related queries and inquiries from the business partners
  • Lead team ensuring timely deliverable of activities, as well as developing a strong team

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in Finance, Administration or similar with CRC with specialization in Taxes.
  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational company.
  • Experience in both accounting and taxes with tasks such as delivering tax declarations, balance sheets, reporting, assisting tax inspections.
  • Previous experience in implementing optimization projects as well as applying new tax and accounting regulations in a local, regional and global level.
  • Vast knowledge in tax and accounting laws and compliance processes.
  • Experience managing personnel.
  • Advanced language skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
