About this Position
We are looking for a Tax Transformation Specialist to support and coordinate the implementation of Brazil's Tax Reform agenda and other tax transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance while helping the business navigate regulatory and operational changes.
As a key project coordinator, this professional will work closely with Tax, Finance, IT, external advisors, and global stakeholders to translate tax requirements into practical processes and system solutions.
This position is based in Jundiaí/SP and requires availability to work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week in the office
What you´ll do
- Lead and coordinate Tax Reform and tax transformation initiatives across local, regional, and global teams.
- Partner with Tax, Finance, IT, and external advisors to implement tax-related process and system changes.
- Assess tax implications of business initiatives and provide practical, compliance-oriented recommendations.
- Support the implementation of new tax requirements, ensuring alignment between business processes, systems, and compliance needs.
- Identify tax risks and opportunities associated with transformation initiatives.
- Support tax due diligence, audits, and tax controversy matters, when required.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to interact with global stakeholders.
- Experience in tax compliance, tax transformation, process improvement, or tax-related projects.
- Solid knowledge of indirect taxes, including ICMS, PIS, COFINS, IPI, and related compliance processes.
- Experience coordinating projects and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in multinational companies and/or Big Four.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and tax compliance solutions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, analytical, and collaborative mindset.
- Experience with tax system implementations or digital transformation initiatives will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of Brazilian Tax Reform developments and their business impacts.
